DMCA / Takedown Policy
Last updated: May 2026
About this policy
This site does not host video files. Videos are streamed via embedded HLS from third-party content delivery networks. The site's only stored, original content is AI-generated subtitles and narrative descriptions produced locally by the operator.
However, we recognise that rights holders may wish to request removal of references, embeds, or metadata related to their work. We respond to good-faith takedown requests on a best-effort basis.
How to submit a takedown notice
To submit a takedown request, send an email to:
dmca@javsubtitled.ws
Your notice must include:
- Your full name and a contact email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (title, studio, video code, or registration number if available).
- Identification of the specific URL(s) on this site you wish removed. We cannot act on general claims; please list each URL.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Our response
Upon receipt of a complete and good-faith takedown notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 7 business days.
- Remove or disable access to the identified URL(s) where we have control, typically by deleting the relevant database row and any cached metadata.
- Note that because we do not host video files, removing a URL on this site does not remove the underlying video — that remains hosted by the third-party CDN. Your takedown should be directed to that CDN as well for full removal.
Counter-notice
If you believe content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address. The counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the removed URL(s).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error.
- Your name, address, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in the operator's location.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Repeat infringers
This site does not host user-uploaded content. The "repeat infringer" framework therefore does not apply in its usual sense.
Bad-faith claims
Submitting a fraudulent or bad-faith takedown notice may expose the sender to liability under applicable law. We retain copies of all notices and counter-notices and may share them with affected parties or law-enforcement on lawful request.
Limitations
This policy describes our voluntary good-faith process for handling takedown requests. The site operator does not concede that any specific content infringes any specific right. Please direct legal questions to qualified counsel rather than to this contact address.
Nothing on this page constitutes legal advice or admission of infringement. The process described is provided as a courtesy.
